Post-buckling Partial Similitude Scaled Model for Stiffened Cylinders under Axial Compression by Energy Method

Considering the geometric nonlinearity and imperfection of stiffened cylinders, generalized similitude conditions scaling laws for axial compression post-buckling are established by applying transformation to total energy structure. The similarity cylinders is numerically analyzed, scale laws, through innovative application stiffness formulas deformation factor. Based on three type geometrical imperfections, effects radius effective thickness ratios, cross-sections, boundary coefficients investigated partial simulation under compression. results show that can be well realized changing other parameters or selecting a model with similar Poisson’s ratio prototypical material premise invariant factors. Partial not affected ratios (23.76–268.95), classical simply supported fixed support conditions, rectangular T-type cross-sections imperfections.
